This position of Creative Director will work behind the scenes to drive the success of Carrington Connects as a whole, and we have a great time doing it. Ping Pong anyone?




    Responsible for translating marketing objectives into creative strategies, communicating our brand throughout the homeownership experience in a clear, consistent, beautiful manner. Ensure the communication of how we make homeownership simple, the visual language, and ensuring the Connects brand is consistent across all of our channels. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.




    • Develop the creative vision, visual language, and design ecosystem to support our brand initiatives across all of our channels and touchpoints
    • Manage the development and execution of creative assets for multi-channel integrated brand campaigns, including video, digital, social media, print, outdoor, and other assets as required
    • Coordinate with external creative agencies, consultants, and vendors when required
    • Manage the elements and assets needed (mood board, comps, visual/audio references, etc.) to articulate and sell creative ideas to gain leadership approval and organizational support
    • Manage all aspects of the creative process from concept to completion
    • Perform research on the market and competitors to identify trends and opportunities
    • Assist in the development of clear, focused, and unified communications across the entire customer experience
    • Build and maintain the brand style guidelines, train our team on best practices, and enforce their use across the ecosystem
    • Coordinate with acquisition, product, communications, legal, and sales teams to execute campaigns
    • Work closely with multidisciplinary project team supporting product and operations requirements
    • Communicate our creative vision, what we are saying in the market, and the importance of design to our brand
    • Effectively manage design requests, prioritization, and production
    • Review and set objectives with performance measures for designers
    • Manage communications and approvals with our legal and corporate marketing teams when required
    • Provide creative support for all marketing and business development events





    • Working knowledge of evolving technologies like responsive web design and front end frameworks
    • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and / or Sketch
    • The ability to manage people, projects, and resources
    • Experience in briefing, directing, and supervising a team of designers
    • Understanding of creative trends and how they can be applied to our business
    • A portfolio that shows your creative range, innovative thought, and demonstrates A+ work
    • Ability to present and explain creative direction to stakeholders across the company
    • Ability to leverage data in a way that informs your design decisions
    • Ability to collaborate with senior executive peers to develop strategies and tactics
    • Ability to present in a professional executive manner and work closely with top management
    • Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience at agency/design firms or technology-based product companies managing the development of creative assets
    • Experience in creative design, developing, pitching and shipping work that elevates brand or product experience
    • Demonstrated experience implementing campaigns across multiple channels and consumer touchpoint
    • Working knowledge of evolving technologies like responsive web design and front end frameworks
    • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and / or Sketch
