    Responsibilities

    The Sales Commission Analyst is responsible for the calculation of ongoing semi-monthly and monthly commissions across multiple sales channels. This position will also play an integral role in moving to a fully-automated commission calculation environment within CallidusCloud. Performs intermediate level financial analysis of compensation cost of sales and sales representative production.  

     

    What you’ll do:

    • Ensure ongoing semi-monthly, monthly, and quarterly commission/incentive calculations are calculated correctly according to the plan documents both within and outside of the CallidusCloud commission system.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with sales management to support their organizations in delivering timely and accurate sales incentive calculations and reporting each pay period.
    • Performs intermediate level analysis for HR, Sales, and/or Finance leadership around compensation cost of sales and related compensation or sales representative production.
    • Manage, document, and execute approved guarantees, commission ramp-up plans, pay exceptions, and other off-cycle pay components, both in excel and in Callidus.
    • Research and resolve questions, discrepancies, and other ad hoc requests from the sales organization and sales leadership.
    • Extract pay files and partner with payroll to ensure incentive payments are submitted on time.
    • Partner with compensation design team to interpret compensation plan documents to assist with configuring new and ongoing compensation plan updates within Callidus; work with interim resources and/or external consultants to configure more complex plan requirements.

    Qualifications

    What you’ll need:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted
    • 2-5 years of experience as a Commissions Analyst, Compensation Analyst, Financial Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, or similar role
    • Strong technical and HR system skills (advanced excel, access, reporting, etc.)
    • Prior experience calculating and/or automating commission calculations within a sales compensation system such as CallidusCloud Incentive Compensation/Commissions/TrueComp a plus
    • Experience with broad based compensation (job descriptions, market pricing, salary and bonus plan administration, etc.) preferred
    • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) certification from World at Work is a plus
    • Experience with UltiPro a plus
    • Financial Services, Real Estate or Mortgage industry experience is a plus
