    The Senior Accountant performs general accounting functions and various analyses using GAAP procedures that involve general ledger, balance sheet, income statement accounts, ledger reconciliation, preparation of data for journal entries, and financial statements.


    What you’ll do:

    • Prepares, researches, and reconciles daily payment clearing, and return items; balances daily Corporate & Escrow Advances.
    • Reviews daily cash balancing, reviews monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, and interacts with other departments as necessary to resolve issues. Reviews and approves bi-weekly payroll.
    • Prepares general ledger journal entries, monthly balance sheet reconciliations on assigned accounts, and bank reconciliations.
    • Assists in the implementation of internal control procedures within the Accounting Department.
    • Performs various analyses on balance sheet and income statement accounts for fluctuation.
    • Assists with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

    What you’ll need:

    • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
    • Three (3) to five (5) years of general accounting/finance experience required
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Epicor accounting software preferred
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
