    The Collateral Credit Trade Analyst will be responsible for reviewing borrower credit profile for GNMA re-securitization eligibility in parallel with collateral review. Analyze reports from custodians to clear document and data exceptions in support of loan file transactions; which include: obtaining missing, incorrect or unrecorded mortgage, note, Bailee letter, modification, corporate assignments and intervening assignments. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.



    • Review borrower VA, FHA and USDA seasoning requirements to correctly assess GNMA eligible re-pool loans.
    • Analyze consumer credit reports specific to prior mortgage payment history on VA, FHA and USDA loans.
    • Research all available documentation, including title reports, for prior VA, FHA and USDA mortgage history.
    • Identify and isolate ineligible GNMA re-pool loans and track cumulative population for remediation.  
    • Consult with Collateral Trade Manager and Capital Markets for GNMA eligibility test of loan population.
    • Prepare collateral related documentation, report collateral conditions and tracking.
    • Act as point of contact and escalation for document transaction resolution.
    • Provide training support to trade team and business process.
    • Resolve and correct missing, incorrect, unexpected, unrecorded, illegible, damaged, or otherwise unusable documents required in a mortgage collateral file.
    • Knowledgeable with MERS registered loans and effect on assignment chain
    • Track and monitor file location and movement using database systems.
    • Ensure service standards, policies, procedures and are adhered to and client needs are met.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience.
    • Three (3) to five (5) years of mortgage collateral document experience.
    • Experience in capital markets, secondary marketing or investor reporting preferred.



    • Advanced knowledge of collateral file documentation.
    • Complete understanding of GNMA eligibility requirements for pool submission and buyouts.
    • Strong knowledge in credit history reporting, loan origination credit files, and title commitments.
    • Knowledge of loan modification criteria for GNMA certification.  
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
    • Knowledge of the intricacies of document exception clearing.
    • Action oriented with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Able to interact with all levels of management.
    • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
    • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
    • Effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Required to utilize the following programs: Fiserv, Tempo, Encompass, On-Base document Images, County Websites and others.
    • Strong organizational skills, promptness and analytical decision making skills.
    • Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing demands of high growth business needs.
