    The Correspondent Submission Specialist will be responsible for ensuring all loans are indexed and setup in a timely proficient manner while maintaining accuracy and quality customer service. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.




    • Receives loan applications submissions from wholesale brokers either by electronic data file or hard copy file.
    • Enter or verifies information into loan origination system.
    • Reviews and audits loan documentation to ensure accuracy.
    • Indexing documents
    • Maintain a high level of customer service to all internal and external customers.
    • Maintains confidential information concerning loan applicants.
    • Assists departmental support staff when necessary.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    • Knowledge of mortgage industry and loan documents
    • Strong working knowledge of loan operating systems, preferably Encompass 360.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Strong computer skills (i.e. use of the Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and use of office machines such as copiers, scanners and fax machines.
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Requires some organizational skills and ability to work on several files simultaneously.
    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task without supervision
    • Ability to conduct business effectively over the telephone and internet
    • Ability to handle detailed assignments.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.




    • High School education or GED.
    • One (1) year mortgage experience.
    • Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.
