    The Sr. Funder will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and funding approved loan files ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations and company policies. Coordinates disbursement of funds with escrow, title companies, and warehouse banks. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.


    • Works with appropriate parties to clear any outstanding conditions prior to loan funding.
    • Reviews signed loan documents for compliance with federal, state and local law and company policies and procedures.
    • Reviews and approves HUD-1 settlement statement from closing agent.
    • Verifies and prepares wire transfer instructions.
    • Verifies loan amount, all fees, rates, discount points, broker rebates and other funding amounts.
    • Reviews signed loan documents for correct signatures, notary information, title reports and escrow instructions.
    • Inputs funding information into the loan system(s).
    • Follows up with any post-closing issues that may arise.
    • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of Company and regulatory changes that effect the funding process.
    • Resolves funding discrepancies with the Accounting Department and Shipping Department.
    • Assists departmental support staff when necessary.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.


    • Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of all aspects of mortgage loan closing and funding.
    • Experienced in Conventional, FHA and VA loan programs for wet and dry states.
    • Thorough understanding of current RESPA/GFE regulations.
    • Maintains highly confidential information concerning broker clients.
    • Requires extremely high level of organizational skills and ability to work on several tasks simultaneously.
    • Constant contact with title/escrow companies, brokers and internal office staff.
    • Normal coordination of various duties required.
    • Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.
    • Office machines such as computer, copiers, scanners, fax machines.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to handle detailed assignments.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
    • DataTrac and other AUS experience preferred.
    • Strong customer service skills.


    • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
    • Five plus years of experience as a mortgage loan Funder with multiple loan products and warehouse lenders.
