    Responsibilities

    The Vendor Relations Specialist is responsible for setting up and monitoring the Company’s legal and non-legal third-party service providers through a formalized process. Evaluate the effectiveness of new and existing vendors and monitor and report on Service Level Agreement compliance and other contractual covenants and obligations. 

     

    What you'll do:

    • Thoroughly assess large volume of documentation to complete a vendor review in accordance with regulatory compliance and internal policy.
    • Manage request for proposal and request for information process for new service providers.
    • Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure an effective and efficient business relationship.
    • Manage ongoing compliance of vendor network within company database.
    • Conduct meetings with vendors to facilitate improvement actions on vendor’s performance when necessary.
    • Evaluate and conduct review of vendor performance scorecards on a monthly basis for existing vendors.
    • Adhere to strict confidentiality policies and procedures.
    • May process marketing and mortgage lending vendor invoices as needed.

    Qualifications

    What you’ll need:

    •  High School Diploma and/or some college required.
    • Three (3) or more years of mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance or vendor management work experience is preferred.
    • Experience with Loan Origination and Loan Servicing Systems is a plus.
