    Responsibilities

    The Post Sale Support Specialist provides support in the process of monitoring activities of Post Foreclosure properties relative to the accurate and timely handling of residential mortgage loans in accordance with client requirements and requirements of federally insured loans. Effectively collaborate and communicate with vendors, clients and internal support groups to ensure optimal resolution and/or outcome. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintains, reviews, follows up on, and ensures the timely and accurate completion of ancillary steps in the post foreclosure sale process related to vacancy, property registration and utilities on a daily basis.
    • Performs routine follow-up on, on a daily basis.
    • Remediates and/or resolve escalated matters with management guidance, and approval.
    • Documents all servicing, action taken, delays, follows ups and phone conversations in the system notes.
    • Monitors vendor performance and notifies manager of any consistent problems (i.e. vendor’s inability/failure to comply with investor/insurer procedures and/or CMS requirements).
    • Submit and track HUD P260 over allowable requests.
    • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications at intermediate level preferred.
    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule.
    • Ability to work in a paperless, automated and fast paced environment while handling a high volume pipeline.
    • Ability to work effectively as a team player.
    • Ability to multi-task to complete various tasks as required.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy.


    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
    • Zero (0) to two (2) years mortgage industry experience.
