    Responsibilities

    The Investor Reporting Data Analyst is responsible for engaging with the business to gather documentation requirements, perform analysis and design implementation solutions.  Will be deeply involved throughout the solution development lifecycle as a subject matter expert for the requirements.  Also provide analytics support for other functions within Treasury, Investor Reporting, and Investor Accounting Departments, including but not limited to data management, application testing, and fielding ad hoc requests. 

     

    What you’ll do:

    •  Gather and document business requirements, formulate use cases, track requirements, provide status updates and ensure quality of solution throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Develop communications, training materials, and business procedures/documentation for each project.
    • Partner closely with management, end-users and IT in the analysis of business requirements to deliver effective reporting solutions.
    • Utilize various tools such as SQL Server, Access, and Excel for data analysis and reporting to increase efficiencies throughout the department.
    • Recommend, test, and implement system and process improvements.
    • Validate data coming from other departments and systems to ensure data integrity. Work to resolve discrepancies.

    Qualifications

    What you’ll need:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
    • 2+ years’ experience in a data analytics or similar role.
    • 1 year of related industry experience such as investor accounting and/or reporting preferred.
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills.
    • Well versed in using Excel(advanced Excel preferred).
    • Strong working knowledge of Excel VBA.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL including T-SQL programming.
    • Ability to make decisions that have impact on the department’s credibility, operations, and services.
    • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term and long-term basis.
